This is a pretty useful tool, apparently my current computer requires 390 watts, maybe I should consider a powersupply upgrade. Then again, the chances of all the components running at the same time is pretty minimal.

The counter starts at 36 because that's how much it is assumed your mobo, keyboard, mouse, and floppy take up.

i'd be worried about the way the wires are soldered to that tiny thing
and slight mis-abuse and those wires could come right off

I dont think you understand the strenght of solder bonds, or the fact that you wont be using this PSU as a laso or Grappling hook

Well, it seems that each wire is doubly soldered (ie. each wire is soldered to 2 PCB's). I wouldn't foresee a real problem unless you really reefed on the sucker.
Though, in my moments of computer rage..........that actually might be a problem
