why is it that i can only have a avitar that is no bigger then 80x80 pixles?

I see other peoples avatars that are bigger then that.

maby you could make it so that we can put in bigger avatars, just not too big that it would get out of hand.

saddly yes, i am looking to force all avitars to a set size. I just don't have the time right now

Wouldn't that force you to change your own avatar Bob? I think that 80x80 is a little small, but you should set some limit, maybe 150x100?

no its not just for the ones you upload.

I tryed using one that is on a website and it was also to big.

I am pretty sure you can do it if you link it off-site, that's how the rest of us got larger ones. Did you try the Upload from URL option or the Link to Off-site Avatar option?

Maybe Bob reciently fixed it or somthing, or perhaps it has somthing to do with the site you are linking to.

I dont see how the site would make a difference. If its not supported then im shue it just would not work. It probly wouldnt say that its to big?

How big is the one you are trying to link to? Maybe there is some maximum size for liked Avatars but the only error message available is for the 80x80 restriction.

well it still dont work for me, anyway i like the avatar i have now i would just like it to be a little bigger.

my avatar is 100 X 97 and I think it's a great size

Yah, I think that somwhere in the 100 - 120 range is a good size, large enough that you can pick out some detail, but still small enough that it's not obtrusive.
