So apparently the E3 video was all scripted. The thread has shots from the beta that was stolen showing that the AI is all scripted and not actually reacting dynamically.

hmmm... that sucks quite a bit. Maybe Valve was just showing what they thought the game would be like when it was done, but had yet to complete the AI.
On another note it looks like the hackers got pretty much everything that Valve had, textures, models, code...etc.

It seems that Valve was lying out their assholes. We really shouldnt be surprised since this is the company that "produced" such quality mods as CS, Gunman, and the Excellent game TF2.... Oh wait... Thats not out yet, since they're making it a mod for their unfinished game that they promised would be out 3 weeks ago....

ATI & Half-Life 2:
The rumors are rampant, the facts are few. Let us help you out a bit.
The current ATI Radeon 9800XT and Radeon 9600XT will have a coupon in the box that looks like...this:
First off, note that it says "Full Version". This means "Full Version". No matter what your cousin George that works at EB told you he read on the public forums, this is a full retail version of the software. YES, there will be multiplayer support.
The coupon has a scratch off code on it that you will need to play the game, so do not lose it. If you can't download the game, you will have to pay for shipping and handling to have it sent to you. For more information directly from ATI, check out this page.
Now to add to the rumors. We are hearing that products beyond the XT lineup may be blessed with Half-Life 2 as well, but that has not been verified with ATI yet.
Thanks to Jalidi in our forums for the pic.
UPDATE - 4:57PM - Nathan over at Tweaknews let's us know that he got a Half-Life 2 coupon in his 9600Pro AIW box. We are hearing that it might even reach further than this.

I wonder how long the coupons are valid for?
I guess atleast now we can be sure that the game will come out someday, otherwise they would have a lot of angry video card owners on their hands.

And an angry video card company as well.
ATI is more likely to cause them trouble than the owners of said cards. They have lawyers with clout and lots of cash.

As Paul said earlier, I think ATI would be very upset if the game was not released.

That is only net speculation. Value has never said that it would not be released

That's true, as far as valve is concerned they are sticking with the November 27th release.

Not releasing the game would be the dumbest thing Valve ever did. They just spent 3 or 4 years working on this! Not releasing it would be like committing suicide. They would alienate their fan base and kill their income.
