Half Life 2 delayed due to source code leak!

Nothing official from Valve as of yet, but I would expect to hear something soon as it is now almost 9am on the Coast. We are getting some off-the-record comments this morning that the report below by Reuters may not be accurate for USA distribution. Contacts in the USA are reporting things contrary to the article. I would suggest that we all wait for the official word from Valve on all of this. So let?s all uncurl our panties while we wait for what Gabe Newell has to say.
We'll see what Valve has to say. I'd rather have it by christmas myself....

Half-Life 2 Delay III:
More sources that should be in-th-know, but want to be off-the-record, piped up about HL2 and it being delayed again.
In the mean time, we still believe the game is on track to ship for the Christmas season.

Doug Lombardi - Director of Marketing at Valve: We are still assessing the effects of the attack. At this time, we have no further details we can share regarding the theft nor it's impact on the release of Half-Life 2.
We might still get it!

The hacker who stole the HL2 source code claims that he got the whole thing and that he is going to release a beta version to the public. If this is indeed the real hacker, it could be very damaging to Valve on many accounts.
