Alright, who's got a copy of Windows 98 SE and lives close to me. All of my cds of it are buggered and the formatting can not continue with out it. Of course this had to happen now and obviously, being in a protective cd binder has damaged the disks so now Im screwed.

Bloatware and privacy invasion in XP turned me off.

Thanks to all but I managed to find a copy under the masses of stuff I got here. As for matt I have no secret love for Windows. I hate it to its very core. Windows has the soul of the devil. I curse the day Bill Gates came out with it. Heck I curse my computer when Im using it. Windows is the only reason I ever have to format. If it didnt destabalize and get hardcore errors, I would never format again. It's just that as Jason stated I do not have a cd of Linux, nor do I have any love for that operating system either. Windows is just what I know, my family knows how to use it, too many software companies choose to support it, Bill Gates sold his soul to the devil so that his operating system rules the world, etc. I may become a Linux user some day when it is more widely supported but for now 98SE/XP duel boot. Heck I wouldnt even have xp if it wasnt for the lans and the whole lack of connection to the network from 98 (anther point against it) So in conclusion to the longest post I've ever written and possibly the post I've gotten the most replys too, Windows blows big fat hairy horny hot dirty sweaty (did I miss any?) billy goats. I would like to point out that if a 98 user cannot connect to Xp machine, It is the fult of the XP user. XP allows you to ignore the nameing convention, this is why people cannot conect. If users of XP would take a little care, there would be no problem.

Oh yah, since when is dempsy "Linux Boy" I thought that was me. In fact by this time next week I will have elminated Windows entrialy, That includes any program that windows users can use.

Go Debian!!! I am willing to help any one change, and i will be puting up guides for games and applications. I yes I know, i have said guides before, but after tomorows paper I will have time.

That makes no sense... I fixed that problem, I run smooth and reliable now.

But Dempsey By installing Win98 you are admiting that you dont hate windows infact you kinda like it. There is no body in this entire world stoping you from installing Linix. Infact bob is willing to help you go through the proses of installing and helping you get away from windows.

No i really don't like windows. Nobody said I have to stop using it. It's merely that I am familiar with it. It works some of the time, but restarting the comp 4-5 times a day really gets to a guy. Its what all the games I buy run on. MMMmmm... Sweet Sweet Games. I have no love for windows, its more like a general "Meh, its what I know" I dont like to needle pigs or play quake 3 (MMMmmm... Rocket Arena) but I have to do that too. And wtf is STFU?
