I guess NDP leader Howard Hampton expected a little too much, he said yesterday that he thought the NDP would be the official opposition, with 30 seats. They didn't even get party status. :D

The results:

Ohwell i already knew that the Liberals would win the most seats. Doesnt realy matter. The Only thing that matterd was that the Oxford MPP is [PC]Ernie Hardamen. Thats who i voted for and thats who won. I was campaining for Ernie and he won. Thats all that matters.

BTW if you didnt voet that gives you no right to bitch about the govenment!!!.

I say it once and I will say it agin, If ya vote NDP you know nothing about Politics and you have no clue what would happen if NDP did get into power.

If you are interested in knowing what would happen tell me what subject they are going for and i will tell you the downfall to there plan.

The only reason they had to do that is because people want all these services but no-one wants to pay more taxes for them. The NDP basically gave everyone what they wanted and people still hated them for it.

Ya the NDP did give all the people what they wanted, but you dont always need what you want. Because of this stupidity we are still in debt.

Excuse me? I know nothing of politics? I guess thats why I've taken 2 canadian political science courses. The problem here Matt is that you know very little of politics. If the NDP were to get into power, things would start to get back on the right track, not the way they are now.

Tell me right now why the NDP is bad. I'd like to know why you think they are.

For one thing they wanted to raise taxes, which should be lowered.

well ghost, NDP have to radical agenda for canada (it doesnt seem radical when you read it let me explain) See Kal and I have this theory that the major of canadians are actualy conservatices at heart.... so much so that they vote liberal.... if ya think about that one you'll figure it out... (or maybe ya want but ya should :P )
Anyways matt is right though NDP are so desperate for power they barely held federal party status as well.
While i dont know if i would say someone knows NOTHING about politics liking the NDP i will say that it is throwing your vote away.

And ghost i dont think you DO know anything of substance about politics! ok so you took some poly sci? so your relating someone elses idea good for you! thats like saying that you watch the media in canada and considder yourself well informed....
WRONG canadian media is totally liberal... they totally slant everything to make everyone else look bad. we do not get an unbiased news media and its just that simple.

So simply because I have different view points than you I know little of politics? I grew up in a household that is very politically active, and I have been informed of political view points, agendas and ideal since I was very young.

The problem here is that both You and Matt are very conservative, so you see the NDP's agenda as "radical" or "crazy". I come from a more socialist viewpoint, so I see the NDP's agenda as one that makes more sense to me. However, stating that I know very little about politics is absurd and offensive as well. I dont assume to know everything simply because I've taken some poly-sci courses, but I do presume to know what I'm talking about. The next time you intend to call someone ignorant, realize that your viewpoint isnt the right one. There isnt a right one.

I apoligise for my comment on saying people know nothing about politcs if they vote NDP. Ghost you have a point that i realy dont have the right to comment on your vews on the party that you support. But I do infact know alot about politic, not saying that i know more about it then some but classroom is much different then real world. Ive been on a campin and i know alot of the BS and the mud slinging and lies that go around during the campain.
