I have broken my face plate on my phone earlier this week.

I was getting out of my car and I dropped the phone onto the stones, when I went to pick it up there was a big crack down the screen.

Nokia is the most durable cell phone I have ever seen.

I have dropped this phone many many times over and over. The one day it fell off my belt clip and as I was walking I kicked the phone and I watched it go flying across the pavement.

I have also left if outside in the pouring rain for 3 hours, I picked it up brushed it off, made a phone call, the damn thing worked fine.

All of this and more has happend to it and what makes the face plate crack a ????? a fall from no more then 1 1/2 feet from the ground onto a stone.

hell yes. I've dropped my phone more than I care to admit. the rain thing is impressive though, never happened to mine...

maybe it was age, Plastic fatigue.

So was it just the plastic case that broke? or the actual screen.
If it was just the case, that's no big deal. If it was the screen, that sucks.

No it was just the faceplate screen

But still it's the thought of it LOL
