You volunteered to do this service to the messageboard community which I'm sure many others would be glad to take up if it's weighing heavy on your shoulders.
Forgive me if I find your complaints largely hyprocritical
Lets take a look at the slander your slinging around here:
hyp·o·crite –noun
1. a person who pretends to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that he or she does not actually possess, esp. a person whose actions belie stated beliefs.
2. a person who feigns some desirable or publicly approved attitude, esp. one whose private life, opinions, or statements belie his or her public statements.
You then go on to post three examples of my supposed hypocrisy in the form of threads that I modded.

"Trade Complete" does require a great amount of mental capacity to spew out, I'll admit
Though, extra points for the ebay link Thumbs up!!!
Too bad it was the beginning of some evil string posts!Posted: Fri Jul 07, 2006 5:47 pm

Yes, apparently my hypocrisy knows no bounds...I yell for moderation at every turn yet do no actual modding myself.....oh wait, all of those threads were modded - by me. Thanks for proving yourself wrong.
Next you posted the standard PHPBB rules, which I'm sure people can read above, and came to the following conclusions.

Let's garner something from this:
1. It says nothing of string posting. Proper etiquette and rules are two very different things. One is expected--the other enforced. Thumperups post, while they could have been condensed, were still relavent. I'd mod sh!t posts, but not ones that are on topic.
2. The rules are quite lax. Check out the bolded sections. All of us would have been banned long ago--even the "mysterious" root admin would have been
Yes - the rules are lax, and do you know why that is? Because that's the way the community wants it!! No-one is asking you to ban Thump's account, or freak out and delete all the posts in the Computer Hardware & Software section of the messageboard. All I'm saying is that string posting can decrease the quality of the thread, and ruin the flow of conversation on a topic, and it would be nice if the mods would recognize that and take the time to do somthing about it.
People are free to agree or disagree with me as they choose, and infact I welcome them too, that's what it's all about. If you want to disagree with me on a personal level that's fine, but if you come in swinging your golden hammer of "I'm a mod, I can do what I want" then that's just abuse.

Good job the rules are lax and I'm not really bound by the license.

The underlings don't make the calls.
Of course they do. The messageboard wasn't spawned whole and handed down from god to THE JEW (RaVeN) to do with as he pleases, it was built...piece by piece...by the people that are a part of this community, and it belongs to each of us. Without that community this messageboard wouldn't exist, and each of the moderators works for the community to try to make it a better place.

You run the Trade Forum the way you want. I don't agree with it, but that's not my call. There are 2 people with whom I concern myself when it comes to the runnings of this section--Homey V and Homey B. They ain't b!tchin' so..................
I will take up your concerns with Homey V, we will have a long drawn out discussions, we will weigh both sides of the argument, and then do whatever the h3ll we want
If that's the way you really feel then I think your power has truly corrupted you and maybe you don't deserve to be a moderator of anything.
