While keeping an eye on Kylin and the other transport ship, I enter the commands into my a-wings computer panel as I land my a-wing onto the hard rock floor of the hanger.
I feel anxious to land on the planet and get on with the mission, so anxious that I realize that my hands are grasping the a-wings controls and almost lost control of my ship.
Sweat drips from my forehead from the hot ride through the planets atmosphere.
As I bring my ship to a stop in the hanger bay, I open the a-wings cockpit doors and power down my shields. I shut down the ships engines and scan my ship for any midpacks or equipment that I might need for the much anticipated mission, remembering not to forget my trusty blaster rifle.

I return to my seat and begin some breathing exercises to relax. I hope that the people in the cockpit are able to handle whatever is going on.

- Garmen - You attempt to convince the others that you had no intention of hitting the button, emploring them to believe your excuses.

Your Con skill is 6D+1, you roll 24.

Rava, has the highest perception skill: 4D, he also watched as you hit the button, but only assumed you were looking for something to tinker with. You must beat a difficulty of 11 and his roll. He rolls 11, for a total of 22.

You seem very sincere with your apologies, and the group believes that you weren't trying to kill, them, but you probably have some explaining to do.

You were too busy making excuses for the others to notice Ilon speaking to Nagta, but you catch his last comment, "Everyone try to remember that we've got a mission to do here"

Rava starts to usher everyone out of the cockpit. "OK EVERYONE!! We need to get to the exit.. Ilon is about the land the ship and when he does we need to get off and get this mission over with..everyone will know we are here and the faster we do this the more of us will walk away from this mission.." Ka helps him out.

He grabs you by the shoulder, and begins to get you out of there. It is in your best interest to go with him.

Ilon stops Rava before he leaves the cockpit, and whispers something, but you can't make it out, and returns to his seat.

- Nagta - You try to pinpoint the location of the sound, just as it fades.
Your perception is 3D, and this is a very easy roll (you are in the same room as the source).
You Roll 9.

The sound was coming from the computer terminal next to Ilon. There is nothing to kill.

Athena calls from the cargo hold, "Tell me as soon as you find out what the noise is. Nagta don't kill anyone."

Garmen is talking to everyone, but mainly Rava, as he is the one who addressed him initially, and you hear him giving an explanation about a button.

Ilon turns to you and says, "Whoa, no need to get worked up, it was just a little malfunction." He returns to piloting, "Everyone try to remember that we've got a mission to do here."

Rava speaks while trying to usher everyone out, "OK EVERYONE!! We need to get to the exit.. Ilon is about the land the ship and when he does we need to get off and get this mission over with..everyone will know we are here and the faster we do this the more of us will walk away from this mission.." Ka tries to get everyone to leave as well, trying to defuse this awkward, and crowded, situation.

Ilon then approaches Rava, and whispers something to him, and then sits down at the controls.

- Rava - You hear Ilon's comment to Nagta, and his comment about having a mission to do, and in unison with his comment, like you are on the same wavelength, you begin to try to get everyone out of the cockpit, and Ka helps, "OK EVERYONE!! We need to get to the exit.. Ilon is about the land the ship and when he does we need to get off and get this mission over with..everyone will know we are here and the faster we do this the more of us will walk away from this mission.."

After hearing Garmen's pleading, you take his word for it, but still have some suspicions about the reason for his actions.
You begin to lead Garmen out, in a way that tells him he should go with you.

Ilon steps closer to you before you leave the cockpit, "I shut down the transciever, we'll deal with Garmen later. Just try to get everyone out of here, and keep an eye on our lizard friend...he seems just a little too quick with that knife for my liking." He then sits down and starts the landing sequence.

- Kylin - You receive a transmission from Ilon, "Thanks for the offer, but it was just a minor malfunction, I've managed to lock it down now. I'll fill you in on the details when we're on the ground"

You Contact the others, "Ilon, Camon, I am heading in with full floods. I will look for an area large enough for all of us.
Please power-up your floods and consentrate Port and Starboard, I will consentrate ahead.
I have also detected 2 inert ships of unknow origin, see if either of you can Identify them."

You then speak to R4, "Please begin scaning the parts of the base nearest the landing bay, search for power emisions, and mainly life signs. The Hoth report mentions creatures that may pose a danger to us."

You land the ship in the corner to the right, near the door that you blasted. The strange fighters are in the other end of the Hanger.

R4 Scans for life forms, and power readings.
His Mech skill is 3D.
He Rolls 14.

A message comes up on your CMD: There appear to be four life forms congregating near the door in the back end of the hanger, as well as several power emmissions coming from within the base. They appear to be small power generators, and possibly a droid. The droid signal appears to be on the third floor, but the signal is weak, and can't be pinpointed.

- Ilon - You turn to Nagta, while Garmen speaks to whoever will listen. "Whoa, no need to get worked up, it was just a little malfunction,"
and returning to the controls you speak to the group, "Everyone try to remember that we've got a mission to do here."

Rava and Ka attempt to lead everyone out of the cockpit, and you hear Rava speaking to everyone.

You stop Rava before he leaves, and speak in a barely audible voice, "I shut down the transciever, we'll deal with Garmen later. Just try to get everyone out of here, and keep an eye on our lizard friend...he seems just a little too quick with that knife for my liking."

After returning to your seat you begin the landing sequence, and get a message from Kylin, "Ilon, Camon, I am heading in with full floods. I will look for an area large enough for all of us.
Please power-up your floods and consentrate Port and Starboard, I will consentrate ahead. I have also detected 2 inert ships of unknown origin, see if either of you can Identify them."

The Firespray moves slowly through the gaping hole in the Hanger door, the metal still glowing at the edges. Kylin's ship has just touched down, and Camon's A-Wing is landing right beside it. After a moment you set the Firespray down. (Given the fact that the ship must land on its rear drive engines when not in a specially fitted hanger, it might be a good idea to tell everyone to stand against the wall opposite to the doorway to the cockpit. This will prevent injury to those not in the cockpit chairs when the artificial gravity is switched off. Anyone in the cockpit must climb down the ladder on the ceiling to exit the ship through the cargo hold.)

- Ka - You hear Ilon's remarks to Nagta, and noticing that the room is crowded, the situation tense, and possibly dangerous, you help Rava in his attempt to clear the room, while he speaks to the others and tries to enlist their cooperation. The whole while Garmen has been emploring you to believe that he didn't mean to press the button. He seems sincere enough, but all that sincerity means nothing if another mishap causes Ilon to bump into the bay door, and there must be a reason for what he did.
You head out of the cockpit as well, attempting to be an example for the rest of the crew.

- Athena - You call out to Nagta, in the other room, "Tell me as soon as you find out what the noices is. Nagta don't kill anyone." After your comment earlier about the number of men it takes to land the ship, the whole escapade in the cockpit seems somewhat amusing, as it is now even more crowded than before. You see Rava, Ka, Garmen, and Nagta through the doorway, but Ilon is blocked out by Nagta. Rava and Ka start to try and lead the group out, and you see Ilon approach Rava before starting the landing sequence. Cale Sits down in his chair and begins what appear to be breathing exercises intended for relaxation, or some strange alien birthing ritual, maybe both, but since he appears to be a male human you assume the former.

- Camon - You bring your A-wing into the hanger, while keeping an eye on the other two ships. You get Kylin's message just as you touch down, "Ilon, Camon, I am heading in with full floods. I will look for an area large enough for all of us.
Please power-up your floods and consentrate Port and Starboard, I will consentrate ahead. I have also detected 2 inert ships of unknown origin, see if either of you can Identify them."

After setting your ship down you get your gear out of the cargo compartment.

- Cale - While the commotion in the cockpit begins to die down, you take your seat and begin some breathing exercises that you learned on the Mon Calimari home world. Athena calls out to Nagta about investigating the noise, and not killing anyone, then eyes catch yours for a moment, as you begin deep breathing.

The second Rava touches my shoulder I jump back and attempt to wiggle away from his graps, while muttering:
I don't Like it when People touch me... I dont like it when people touch me! let go of me...

(Not threateningly or voilently just disgruntled)

I will then proceed to meander my way out of the cockpit at my own pace and chosen path and find the nearest data terminal to plug into.

I remark very quietly to my Data pad..
What was all that mess about the button about? I didnt do it on purpose and nothing bad happened

(Out of Game)If there's enough for this in my post(out of game)
Once I jack into the data port, I will attempt to access the main computer and begin doing an overhaul of the hyperdrive, navigation and targeting systems with Sellia's help

Once the ship is Landed, I am going to lock-down the X-wing. I am going to take along the data pad that has the Hoth info on it and store the rest. I will also bring the rest of my equipment.

To R4:
R4, in light of these power emmisions, I think It best if you remain we the ship and stand guard over the others as well. Use the ships sensors if you wish, monitor both the base and as much area as you can out side.

If yo should detect anything odd, contact me on my com link. The mission report stated that there is a slicer with the team, he should be able to preform rudeamatry translations.

I am going to exit the X-wing and then proceed to the landing ramp of the Firespray. Once all the others are together, I will relay the report that R4 gave me about the life-forms and the Power generators. I will also inform them that R4 is watching over our fall back position.

I am also going to look for Garmen and try to ask him about talking to R4.

[OutOfGame]If I have posted to many actions, please let me know which and I will proced with them next round.[/OutOfGame]

After successfully recieving Kylins transmision from the a wings intercom, I start to power back up my floods and then I replay back saying "you got it, I will consentrate my flood Starboard (Unless Ilon has consentrated Starboard, then I will consentrate Port) got it, over"...... waiting for a reply back from Kylin

While waiting I scan through my equipment that I found from my a-wing
(please list my equipment)

I then ask the a-wings computer the scan the two ships across the hanger of the echo base to see if there is any life forms on the ships and to see if there is anything of value worth trying to get. (that is if my computer has the ability to do that)

If the computer dosen't have that ability then,
I will get out of my ship with blaster rifle in hands and scan the hanger visually to see if there is a computer console anywhere in the hanger that will let me or one of my allie tap into to see security systems and/or surveillance systems.

I hit the comm and send a transmission to Kylin:
"No problem, I'm activating the floods now"

As I say this I reach over my head to the upper control panel and flick a sequence of switches to turn on the flood lights.

I'll then activate the intercomm:
"Try to hang onto somthing back there or when I kill the artificial gravity It'll be a hard landing"

I'll open the bay doors (assuming there are controls for this in the cockpit), deactivate the gravity, and begin a scan of the interior of the cargo bay, concentrating on the un-id'd ships.

- Nagta - You return to your seat, satisfied that there is no immediate threat. While you are putting on the clothing that you found, Athena asks you, "So what was it?" Ka, Rava, and Garmen have all entered the hold, and are putting on their gear, except Garmen, who has jacked his datapad into a data port. Cale is at his seat, seemingly waiting for something to do.
Ilon's voice comes over the intercom, "Try to hang onto somthing back there or when I kill the artificial gravity It'll be a hard landing." A moment later the hold door opens, letting the frigid air of Hoth into the ship. After only a few seconds you can feel the biting cold start numbing your exposed face. You do a quick check of your equipment: everything is good to go.

You feel a sudden lurch, as though the ship has flipped over, but the chair prevents you from falling over. You now feel as though you're reclined, as opposed to the upright position you were in a moment ago, but you have not moved.

A minute later, Kylin boards the ship, and tells everyone about the life forms that R4 detected, as well as the power emissions. He also mentions that R4 will ensure that the hanger is secure.

- Garmen - You evade Rava's grasp, and tell him, "I don't Like it when People touch me... I dont like it when people touch me! let go of me..." You continue to follow Ka, Rava, and Nagta into the cargo hold, but immediately return to the data port that you had spotted during your work on Sellia, but ignored due to the superiority of your invention.
You comment to your datapad, "What was all that mess about the button about? I didnt do it on purpose and nothing bad happened."
A text message appears on the pad, "Nothing happened, but if I were you I would be more careful. So when does the fun begin?"
You then sit down in your seat and jack the datapad into the port, and an image of a woman with a smile on her face appears on the datapad, (the image is just some random model that Sellia chose from among the galaxy's most beautiful women, but hopes to use as her template).

There is a strange feeling, as though the floor has fallen out from under you, but you have been in your seat the whole time. You are now laying down.

You access the navigational systems in an attempt to improve the response time of the NavComp. This involves penetrating several failsafe mechanisms, and rewriting some of the code. Sellia informs you that there are two failsafe systems in place. You begin work on the first:
It will take 3 minutes to bypass the primary safeguard.
It requires a roll of 15 to succeed: Your computer programming skill = 6D+1, and you roll 24, and do not need Sellia's help.

After 3 minutes, you manage to bypass the first security system, a system that is several years old. You will not have to bypass this failsafe again, you can walk away now or continue on to the second failsafe.

Kylin approaches you as you finish, and asks if you can translate the astromech language. A message appears on your datapad, "I can listen for trouble and tell you what he says, but you'll have to activate your comm. Link."

- Kylin - You put the X-Wing in lock-down mode, and grab your gear, leaving the non-essential datapads in the storage compartment under your seat. You ensure that you have the datapad with the Hoth info, and, holster your gun.
You talk to R4, "R4, in light of these power emmisions, I think It best if you remain with the ship and stand guard over the others as well. Use the ships sensors if you wish, monitor both the base and as much area as you can out side.

If you should detect anything odd, contact me on my com link. The mission report stated that there is a slicer with the team, he should be able to preform rudeamatry translations."

You pop the cockpit canopy open, and feel the cold air of Hoth biting your face. Your comm. activates and you hear Ilon's voice, "No problem, I'm activating the floods now." The Firespray's floods burn to life and light up the far side of the hanger, illuminating the door behind which the sensors indicated life forms, as well as the two unknown fighters. a second later you hear Camon, "You got it, I will concentrate my flood Starboard, got it, over," and the A-Wing's floods light up the hanger to the right. You move toward the Firespray's loading ramp, and go inside where everyone is preparing for the mission, except Garmen.

You tell them about the life forms and power emissions, and let them know that R4 has your fallback position covered. You approach Garmen, but he is busy. When he seems to be finished for a moment you ask him if he can translate the astromech language.

- Camon - You respond to Kylin's message, "You got it, I will concentrate my flood Starboard, got it, over." You activate the floods and light up the right side of the hanger (right when facing the back wall). There are several doors on this side of the hanger.

You check out your equipment 1 Blaster Rifle (5D), 2 med packs, 2 power packs, and 2 syntherope dispensers (50m).

You scan the unknown ships: Your mech skill is 3D + 3D for using focused sensors, you roll 16.
Your scans do not identify the ships, it seems that their configurations aren't even in your computer, but your scan is thorough enough to inform you that they don't have any supplies in them.

You get out of your fighter, immediately feeling the cold air blowing through the gaping hole in the hanger door. Other than the ships, the hanger seems empty. You see Kylin enter the Firespray.

- Ka - As you enter the cargo hold behind Nagta you hear Athena, "So what was it?" You get into the gear that you picked up, observing that almost everyone is doing the same thing, or something similar. You hear Ilon's message, "Try to hang onto somthing back there or when I kill the artificial gravity It'll be a hard landing." You manage to brace yourself, againt the wall, which a second later becomes the floor, and you find yourself in a push-up position.

Kylin comes into the Firespray, and gives everyone a message about life forms, power signatures, and a safe fall-back point. He then approaches Garmen.

- Athena - You wait for the ship to land. When you notice that Nagta has left the cockpit you ask him, "So what was it?" Nagta, Ka, and Rava are getting inito their gear, and a moment later you hear Ilon onver the comm. "Try to hang onto somthing back there or when I kill the artificial gravity It'll be a hard landing." You feel the blood rush to your head, as the wall that you were sitting against is now under you, and your legs are sticking up in the air, leaning against what used to be the floor.

Kylin enters a moment later, datapad in hand, and tells everyone about some life signs, as well as power signatures. He also mentions that R4 is watching over the hanger. He addresses Garmen a moment later, after he has finished whatever he was doing.

- Cale - You breathe, observing, and waiting for somebody to tell you what to do. You hear Athena ask Nagta what the sound was. Garmen has jacked into the computer for some reason, and everyone else is either ready, or getting ready to leave the ship. Ilon's voice comes over the comm. System, "Try to hang onto somthing back there or when I kill the artificial gravity It'll be a hard landing." A second later your straight-backed chair has become a recliner, or that's what it seems like, anyway.

- Rava - You enter the cargo hold behind Nagta, Ka, and Garmen, hearing Athena's question. Nagta and Ka have proceeded to get ready, and you follow suit. Garman has once again wandered off and gotten involved with a piece of technology, strange little fellow, you think. While you are getting ready you hear Ilon's warning over the comm. The room seems to spin, and you find yourself flat on your back. You aren't hurt, mainly because you were already against the wall that suddenly decided to play floor.

A minute later Kylin enters with a datapad in his hand. He addresses everyone, and lets you know about the life forms, power signatures, and R4's security efforts. He then focuses on Garmen, who is oblivious to him until he completes his task. He asks if he can translate astromech.

- Ilon - You send a transmission to Ilon, "No problem, I'm activating the floods now." You light up the port side of the hanger, including several doorways (all closed), as well as the two ships. You give everyone in the back a warning, "Try to hang onto somthing back there or when I kill the artificial gravity It'll be a hard landing," and a moment later, when you feel everyone has had fair warning you open the hold door, extending the ramp, and kill the gravity.

You start a focused scan of the two ships:
Your Mech skill is 4D+1, + 3D for focused sensors. You roll 24.

Your scans reveal that the ships are completely powered down, and that there are no weapons or supplies aboard, other than the standard guns that are, as stated, powered down. Your ship brings up an ID on your CMD. The fighter closest to the main door is a Dagger, and the one next to it is a Dianoga. The display indicates that the ID signatures were found in the original Firespray memory, indicating that the ships are at least 20 years old. The right up that appears, says that they were intended for private use against pirates, but tended to end up in the hands of the pirates they were meant to combat. You hear Kylin telling the others about the life forms on the other side of one of the doors, some power signatures, and R4's security precautions.

Oblivious to Kylin I look at the Data pad and mutter:
What are you talking about? Com Link?

I then proceed to bypas the second failsafe on the nav-comp
