According to PC gamers release thing in the newest magazine HL2 is comming out at the end of next month.

I'd wait to see what pre-order packages EB has. After having waited this long, I just might buy the version with all the included cr@p. To each their own, though.

Correction. It will "ship" on the original date, but won't be released until your date. So Wal-Mart will sell you the Beta. ;)

We anticipate delivering it to Vivendi in August.


If Vivendi gets their ass in gear after they get the game we might even see it in late August or early September....Not Quite One Year Late! W00t! :roll:

Yeah, usually once a game goes gold it's still 2-3 weeks for it to hit shelves.
