I delightedly watch the download bar slowly grow and I carefully examine the stations connections again to ensure that I am not discovered...
As I wait I slowly become aware of the chaos ensuing around me and I start to hum.

No, they arent breasts, they're personalities, because its ok to like a girl for her personalities
It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man

- Nagta - After Rava's attack you make the intelligent decision to avoid facing to attackers from multiple angles, and put Ka between you and Rava. Ka is simply standing there, his responses seem sluggish, but they could buy you the time you need to get out of this mess. Rava makes no further moves but appears to have taken on a look of concentration, as though focusing on what is to come.
- Rava - You stop your assault and begin to focus, drawing the force into your body and concentrating on using the force to guide your saber. Nagta has moved so that Ka is between you and him, apparently using Ka for cover from your lightsaber, this complicates any further attacks you have planned as long as he holds his position.
(you must spend at least 1 full round to get the prepare bonus)
- Ka - You are not focused on this battle, and your responses are sluggish. You see Nagta move behind you, putting you between he and Rava. Rava will have great difficulty in helping you now.
- Athena - You continue to stand away from the battle, not bothering to get any more involved. You simply stand aside and hope that they don't come too close to you. Nagta is using Ka as a human shield, and Rava looks as though he is entering a waking trance of some sort.
- Garmen - As the download bar reaches 17% you start to slowly become aware of the chaos. You begin to hum; nothing in particular, just something to drown out the commotion, at least that's how it comes across to the others.
- Ilon - Still observing the fight, you watch as Nagta begins to use Ka as a human shield, and Rava's face takes on a blank expression. Ka stands there, looking as though he is unsure about the situation. After a second you realize that there is a second hum, other than Rava's lightsaber. It's Garmen, who is humming wildly like a kid who is attempting to drown out the voice of someone he does not want to listen to.
- Kylin - You continue in your hurried pace to the spot marked turbolift. You keep a mental note of the security people heading for the landing pad, and wonder if they will try and stop the little scuffle that is happening out there. You enter the lift with Cale right behind you. The door closes.
- Cale - Just a step behind Kylin, you enter the lift with him. You see the security guards round the corner and disappear just as the door closes. You hit the button and the lift begins to descend.
- Camon - The Security guards up ahead pass through the corridor and walk right past you, continuing on their way toward the landing platform. You pass the people at the vending machine just as their food comes out.
Round 2, Action 3.

I'm going to take out my com-link and try to get a hold of Kylin.
"Kylin..., I don't know where you are but I think you had better get back to the ship fast.
This Nagta thing that little Ms. Senator brought on board seems to have gone crazy and things are heating up faster than a mos eisley bar fight at mid day.
He's killing all our jedi and I think that pretty soon there's not going to be a ship left...let alone a mission to complete.
So get back here, it's the right thing to do...tatically speaking."
I put away my comlink and aim my blaster at Nagta.

I continue humming and watching the download bar progress.
I see if there is anything interesting in the space ports computer systems worth slicing into (As long as it doesnt interrupt my download).

I lean against the wall of the lift and whistle tunelessly to myself for a bit. "I hope there's an intact ship and pilot still alive when we get back", I say casually.

- Nagta - After witnessing Rava's temporary step away from the action, you seize the moment and turn your attention to Ka. You lash out at him with your vibroblade from your position behind him. Your Melee Combat skill is 7D - 2D for multiple actions (moving for cover was a free action, because it was within your move distance). You roll 18 to hit.
- Garmen - You continue to download the files, and proceed to find more stuff as the bar reaches 20%. You browse the menus, and there is a lot of stuff to go through. A more specific search might yield better results with less mundane and more useful material.
- Ilon - You're getting nervous about the whole predicament, and you quickly remove the comm link from your pocket, and thumb it on.
You hope that Kylin is willing to step in and help put an end to this where others have not, but regardless, you put away the commlink and take aim at Nagta. Staring down the barrel, you level the sight on Nagta's back, squarely between his shoulders. He attacks Ka.
- Cale - As the lift decends you lean on the wall and begin to whistle. In an attempt at humour regarding the situation you left behind, you speak up,
- Kylin - Your comm link crackles to life and you get an urgent message from Ilon imploring you to head back to the ship. Cale, standing beside you, and leaning against the wall stops whistling and voices his hope that there will be something to come back to when the mission is done.
(Everyone else, you are in the same position as the last post)
Round 2, reaction for action 3
Only Ka has a reaction to make.
The next post will be on Wednesday, March 2, around 10:00pm. Since only 1 person has to post I am not going to give a full 4 days.

I respond on the ComLink:
To Cale:
I am going to contiune making my way out of the spaceport towards the bar.
Saddly, I am quite to faraway to help. You might have guests on the way. I believe the best course of action would be to stun all parties and explain it as a drunken brawl.
Good Luck.
To Cale:
Hun, I wonder if we are going to have to break them out of the brig when this is all over?

- Nagta - Your blade flashes as it cuts its way through the air toward Ka. He rolls 10, + 11 for full reaction = 21. He catches the vibroblade with the knife just enough to slip it past his throat. Rava and Ka are ahead of you, and the door is behind you.
-Ka- You notice just in time that Nagta has taken a swing at you and you try to parry the blade. You must beat 18. You roll 10, + 11 for full reaction = 21. You just manage to catch the blade with the knife in your hand, moving it just centimeters from your throat.
- Rava - You let the force pour over you, as you continue to build up the concentration to use you saber to its utmost precision. You see Ka parry Nagta's attack, and you see Ilon aiming at Nagta. With Athena standing idly by, there is nobody stopping you from cutting down Nagta where he is, except for Ka, who is in the way at the moment.
- Kylin - You respond to Ilon's request,
With that you turn to Cale in an overly familiar way,
The door opens and you step out toward the exit. You are in the lobby and can see the exit, but you cannot exit the building until the next round (I've already broken the movement rules as it is).
- Athena - Nagta nearly takes Ka's head off with his vibroblade, but Ka somehow managed to parry the blow just in time with the small knife in his hand. Nagta is nearing the door, and Rava is preparing to strike. You see Ilon pointing his gun at Nagta in the corner of your eye.
- Garmen - You continue to watch the download bar fill while pouring over copious amounts of miscellaneous, and mostly useless data.
- Ilon - You get a quick response from Kylin, but it isn't what you wanted to hear. Ka parried Nagta's attack just in time, and saved himself from a messy end. Your blaster is still trained on Nagta. You are on your own in terms of fixing this problem.
- Cale - Your previous statement has illicited a response from Kylin, but his reply is not quite what you expected.
Maybe he is only referring to your roles as the ones responsibly carrying in the mission, while the others are engaged in childish, yet deadly pursuits.
- Camon - You reach the end of the halway, but there is no sign on Cale or Kylin. They must have gone down the lift.
The map hasn't really changed, other than the lift is at the bottom floor, and Camon is slightly farther along in the hallway.
The next post will be on Sunday, March 6. (Tempus said he may be performing another action this round.)

Round 2, Action 4
Until you find something worth dying for, you're not really living.
I look at Kylin, slightly shocked at being called 'Hun'. Then I grin to myself, run up to Kylin, drape my arm across his shoulder as we walk towards the exit, and drawl [quote]Well, darlin', I'd actually like fur us and them folks we're pickin' up at tha saloon ta make a quick getaway to someplace nice an' quiet-like. Just tha two a us, ya know? Them folks back in tha ship ur too rowdy fur ma taste. " (Using all my skills picked up from viewing ancient 2-d video recordings) Then I'll let go of his shoulder, laugh, and give him a friendly punch on the arm.
[If I can't reach Kylin's shoulder comfortably, I'll settle for clutching his arm in mock-feminine fashion]

- Nagta - Realizing that things are about to turn sour for you, you quickly draw a knife from one of the bandoleers on your chest, which affords you easy access to your throwing knives for quick action. With the knife held firmly, but expertly in your grip you pull back and let it fly in an action that is so fast it is difficult to see with any degree of clarity. Your skill with thrown weapons is 8D - 3D for multiple actions = 5D. You are only 1.5 meters from Ka, and this is a very easy throw. You roll 24.
The knife quickly soars through the short space between you and Ka, and hits him in the left side of the chest. You do Strength + 1D Damage = 5D, you roll 26. You don't stick around to see if you really hit him, or if the knife was only caught in his robe. In stead you turn and head down the access ramp and out of the ship onto the landing platform. Where the crowd of pirates appears to be very intimidated.
- Ka - You parried Nagta's previous attack, but by giving it everything you could you left yourself exposed to another attack. From his position not quite two meters away, Nagta quickly draws a knife from the bandoleer across his chest, pulls back and lets it fly. He must beat a difficulty of 5 to hit. He rolls 24. The knife instantly covers the sparse distance between you and you . The knife does Str + 1D damage for 5D. the roll is 26. You roll 2D strength to resist the damage. You get 9.
The knife sinks deep into your chest, and every beat of your heart causes more searing pain. Your vision begins to cloud and you sink to one knee before falling back against Rava's legs. You can make out Rava's form through the fog, lightsaber glowing and held ready, an expression of disbelief on his face. Your head rolls to the side, as all feeling begins to leave your body, and you can see Ilon, with his gun trained on Nagta, but he puts the weapon down after only a second. The darkness envelopes your vision, and you can no longer see, just as you can no longer feel the pain from your wound. There is one last feeling, something you know very well, but it is different from what it was, it is more pure, more intense. It's the force, and you lose yourself in it.
- Rava - From where you stand behind Ka, you see Nagta make a quick movement and then turn and move quickly out of the Firespray's cargo hold. You hear a slight gasp as Ka stumbles, and you can see drops of blood dripping from his front onto the floor. After a second he staggers and falls back, his head resting on your legs. His eyes meet yours, the expression on his face is an obvious, "help me," but you can see the light fading from his eyes, just as you can feel his very presence slipping away as though he were your own brother being swept away in a river and over a waterfall. His head falls to the side, and you can feel as the last of his being slips away. Your sight is fixated on the knife protruding from his chest, and the only thing you can think of are the words from your teacher, Luke Skywalker, who took you both in as his first students, seeing that you were both in need of guidance. The message: to watch out for each other, goes over and over in your mind and you feel the failure. Already feeling a sense of shock from the sudden loss of your friend, you begin to feel sorrow, and anger. You know what Luke said about that, just as you know what your previous master said about it, but you are now faced with the difficult decision of how you will respond to it.
- Ilon - Nagta moves quickly, throwing a knife from the bandoleer across his chest and then rushes out of the cargo hold. You see Ka stumble through the corner of your eye, just as you lose track of Nagta. Ka, down on one knee is bleeding badly: his robe is soaked, and the blood drizzles down the knife and pools on the floor. His face goes pale, and he falls back; his head resting on Rava's legs. After a moment his gaze meets yours and the expression on his face is deadened, but quizical, as though questioning or pondering something in his last moments. Was the question intended for you, "Why didn't you shoot?" Was it something deeper than that? You will never know what he was asking, and you see the last signs of life fade from his eyes as the blood continues to pool on the floor. Your attention moves to Rava, who has an expression of surprise mixed with anger and sadness on his face. He holds his saber ready for action, but what will he do?
- Athena - From where you are you can see Nagta in a flurry of movement before quickly leaving the cargo hold. Then you notice that Ka is clutching at his chest and is doubled over. He goes down on one knee, and you are awestruck by this turn of events. Ka falls backward and there is no sound after that. He doesn't gasp for air, and he doesn't say a word. After a second his head slumps over to the side and you know that he is dead. Your mind races. You were supposed to be along on this mission because of your diplomatic skills: a person of influence who would keep things from getting ugly and causing harm. Now, your bodyguard has killed one of the Jedi assigned to help you, and the whole problem started because they were both looking out for those who they thought were victims. How will you keep your group alive when it comes time to bargain with people who are unsympathetic to your goals when you cannot even prevent your own team mates from killing each other?
- Garmen - You continue to watch the download while you browse the files. There is a muffled thud from behind you and you can smell something. The smell is coppery, but there are no exposed wires in sufficient amount to cause such a smell. The room is silent, and seemingly peaceful: the ideal conditions to work under. Your file browsing turns up a ship manifest that does not appear to be useful, except for its distinct lack of information, and even you cannot find out more about it from here.
- Cale - You put on an act at Kylin's expense, draping your arm across his shoulder,
After letting go of his arm you give him a playful punch in the arm. Your entire act prompts him to cock an eyebrow and stare at you out of the corner of his glowing red eyes. He doesn't seem to be overly amused by your display.
- Kylin - After stepping out of the lift you find yourself the victim of Cale's quick mind, the result of a simple slip of the tongue. He drapes his arm over your shoulders and talks in an outlandish accent not like anything you would find on a civilized world. After he finishes poking fun at you verbally, he gives you a playful, flirtatious punch in the arm to add effect. It's a good thing there are no stormtroopers looking at you right now, or this might attract undue attention. You cock an eyebrow at Cale, and glance at him out of the corner of your eye as you continue to head for the exit.
- Camon - You head for the lift, where Kylin and Cale must have gone. Hopefully everything is alright back there. You stop and wait anxiously for the lift to return to the floor you're on.
