Teehehehe! Ati guy who presented to the game developers at the GDC accidently let his slides out. The notes are somewhat interesting. It talks about there being a 512mb r420, to convince the develops not to use PS3.0, and to pressure them to use Ati cards cuz it'll be in the Xbox2. I'm guessing his butt got kicked to the curb.
Powerpoint (or equiv) needed to view notes:

Plus the fact that the results of the benchmark were pretty insane....I think NVidia would kill for their actual card to perform that well.

Yah... Hell, I'd kill for a card that would perform that good...

The performance results wouldn't be that far off. Look at the difference between the Geforce 1 & 2 or the Geforce 3 & 4. It was pretty large. Though, anything remotely large draws a giggle outta me now. Ah, fark it...............I'm going to bed.

Leaked [H]ardOCP benchmark:
If this is really from [H], this may be not so good for Nvidia. I mean, it's doing an excellent job (note how the 6800 is doing 4aa instead of the 9800XT's 2aa), but not the blowout that I was hoping for. Gonna have to wait to read the whole article, though.

Rest of the leaked [H]ardOCP review. Looks like it's still a relatively weak Directx9 card, but aa and af is much improved.

EDIT:
Holy! Looks like Nvidia's OpenGL performance is still up to snuff:

Wow. After reading through everyone else's reviews the card is really impressive. They've optimized if for all the benchmark games, at least. Ati's gonna have to have a flawless launch.

IQ problems on an Nvidia-based card?
http://www.driverheaven.net/articles/driverIQ/
Shocker!
Seriously, they're not so bad. There's also a
slight problem with the Ati card (small enough that you need to look for it). It's just that Nvidia has an option to disable their optimizations for those who want to. Apparently, it doesn't work. I'm not overtly concerned about these IQ optimizations; however, when I click an option I want it done. Period.
