on a related 'unadvertised' bit
mcdonalds no longer serves their mcdeals... at least from Leamington to Windsor as this is all I can speak for personally.

they just just changed it... or at least here and lemington like I said.
they replaced it with some stupid everyday deal that is a little more expensive and a lot more crappy

Well sorry to burst your bubbles, but London hasn't had the McDeals since June. London was the test market for the Value PIcks menu, and well since you all say it's around Windsor and stuff I guess the test went okay so they are doing it everywhere now.
As for the price difference, it's actually cheaper sandwiches (the bacon cheeseburger, double cheeseburg, and junior chicken) and the meals are 3.99 just like the McDeal meals were.
But I will agree with you all it sucks. You can't get the bigmac and bigger sandwiches cheap anymore.
But that's the way life goes.

I prefer the value menu, but can only get the McDeal's here in T.O. so.........I'll trade you guys ;)
