Gamespy has a massive preview. One thing that caught my eye is that the game is shipping on 6 cd's. That's friggin' huge! I think we've finally reached the stage where DVD games are a reality. Epic does, too--they're also releasing the game on DVD format.

Actually, the DVD version is more expensive, but it's due to the fact that the 2nd DVD contains countless hours of instructional video on how to use the toolset. You also get a Logitech head set. Might be worth it.

In my mind, it would still be worth it. Especially for the install convienence.

I dont have a DVD. Six cd's is huge. I'm probably gonna get UT2K4 just cause its unreal tournament.

I can't believe it has taken them this long to release PC games on DVD. I expected them to have the option years ago.
Hopefully other companies will now follow suit.

Just finished the first 1/2 of the DVD for instructional videos. On to the last 1/2.

I've been playing a bit and I can't believe how similar it is to UT2003. It's like I'm playing the exact same game, I might as well have not even taken the time to get it.
The best part is definitely the new onslaught mode...but I think they could have just released this as an oddon to UT2k3 with the same results. Maybe after a little while I'll start to see more differences, but so far...same old thing.
