Gentlemen, we got 20 calls about the David Hyde-Pierce incident. And as you know, one call equals a billion people, which means 20 billion people were offended by this

- Garmen - Continuing in the task of rerouting the comm signal, you also keep an eye on the log of active users, looking for someone that wouldn't arouse suspicion if they poked around the files of their own accord. Rava gets after you, telling you to get out of the ship as he tries to hustle everyone else out as well. You wait a moment longer in spite of his urging, and it pays off. Someone from security logs into the system and begins doing a routine personel check and something personal on the side from the various connections that are listed in the log. It doesn't look like the chief of security, but their user name and password would give you a decent amount of system access.
- Athena - You act surprised at the thought that the man might have been cheating,
Keeping your anger hidden below the surface of a practiced diplomatic face, you go over the game in your mind. You had been playing a friendly game, no money was involved. He had lost most of the games, and in theory should have accidentally won more than he had. He then asked Cale if he wanted to play a real game on credit. You begin to put two and two together, but wait for an explanation from someone else. Nagta grunts about a cheating pirate in response to Ka's order, and shaks him. The pirate attempts to reason with Nagta.
- Rava - You attempt to get everyone off the ship in an orderly and uninjured fashion. Most of the pirates are more than happy to get off the ship, and Cale gets out as well, stopping near the door outside to see what unfolds in this little drama. Garmen is busy working with the computer, as usual, and half ignores you, or doesn't hear you, you can't tell which. You manage to get everyone else off the ship, except for Nagta, Ka, the pirate in Nagta's grasp, and Ilon and Athena, who also stand by awaiting the next move. You step outside. More people will only complicate the situation further, and you take the opportunity to see what's around. You are on top of the space port, and the city lights stretch on for kilometers out beyond the horizon. Kylin is looking off into the distance, and the rest of the group that is not involved in the confrontation are milling about outside the ship.
- Ka - You tell Nagta to let the man go one more time, but he only grunts the words cheating pirate, while giving the man a shake for effect. The situation appears to be at a stalemate, but although Nagta probably has it in him to snap the man's neck like a twig, his actions have been more of the intimidating kind. You keep your saber trained on him nonetheless. He takes a defensive stance, obviously waiting for you to make a move. You tell him it's time to leave. The pirate speaks, trying to convince Nagta that he was not cheating.
- Nagta - Ka tells you to drop the pirate, and Athena asks how he was cheating. You grunt the words cheating pirate, and shake the man, intimidating him further and showing Ka that you are in control. Ka tells you that it's time to leave. You take a defensive stance, but he does not advance to press the issue. The only ones left on the ship are yourself, the pirate, Garmen, Ilon, Athena, and Ka. The pirate speaks quietly in a shaky voice,
- Ilon - The cargo hold empties pretty quickly with Rava's help, but there is still a tense situation that must be diffused before you can continue the lockdown process. Ka tells Nagta to let the man go, but Nagta is adamant in his defiance. Athena is trying to make sense of the scene, and Gamen is working with the computer as usual. If you could just get them to at least take the problem outside you could lock down the ship in the knowledge that it will be clean and quiet when you get back.
- Cale - Rava rushes everyone who will listen to him out of the ship, including you, but you stand at the base of the boarding ramp, watching to see what happens next. The group of pirates is milling around outside, and the city lights stretch on forever in the darkness.
- Camon - You become curious about the commotion inside the Firespray and approach to get a better look. You can't see anything past the crowd of pirates, but they are obviously concerned about something.
- Kylin - You watch the group of people for a moment, but then turn your attention back to the city lights and the architecture. It is said that architecture is an art form, and the aesthetics of the buildings can be read as a work of art. You attempt to look between the lines, beyond the facade and into the depths of Corellian society.
Same map as before, but more people standing around on the landing pad.
The next post will be Saturday, January 15th.

Are you saying that he was cheating? Cheating how? why? I can't believe this.

I closely monitor the link to the defense platforms and begin coding on Sellia, mentioning to Ilon that I have a project I need to work on before I leave the ship and that I'll lock up before I go.
After saying that I turn myself completely to my work and ignore everything else, and will refuse to leave the ship no matter what.

Now outside seeing as how the people are now safe and being aware that there might be trouble back on the ship, given the fact that Ka had his weapon out and Natga had said something about a cheating pirate. I pull out the sleep inducer and reenter the ship ready for anything.

I go looking for Rava. When I find him, I will attempt to convince him to come with me.
We need to get to the Fried Mynock cantina, quickly and without arousing suspicion. I believe you and I can best do that together, while this gang of semi-insane ruffians does... whatever. Are you with me?

I survey the scene, and slowly lower my hand to my blaster.
"Listen, Jedi - can you take this outside...I don't want to get blood all over the cargo bay"
I walk over to Garmen...keeping my eye on the standoff and one hand on my blaster.
I lean over him "Come on Brainiac, I think things are about to get ugly in here so you 'd better get out if you want to keep that head of yours in one piece."
If Garmen doesn't respond then I grab his arm and try to remove him from the cargo hold.

- Garmen - You begin coding on Sellia, while watching the link with the Golan platforms for anything useful. Ilon approaches you and you tell him in a quick business-like way that you have a project to work on before you go, but that you will lock up. He starts to say something, when he is drowned out by a loud hiss, and the deep thrumb of a lightsaber. Ilon tries to pick you up by the arm. You can resist or allow yourself to be carried out.
- Ka - You have reasoned that it is your responsibility to protect those who can't protect themselves, and Nagta has been threatening one of them. You will not stand for it. Ilon tells you to take your quarrel with Nagta outside and heads over to Garmen. You are too focused to stop now, and have chosen what you believe to be the best course of action. You call upon the force to aid you in ensuring that the planned stroke of your lightsaber will not be a fatal one.
You attempt to activate lightsaber combat. Control difficulty: moderate [12], Sense difficulty: easy [8]. Control = 3D x 2 (force point) = 6D [27], Sense = 2D x 2 = 4D [9].
EDIT
You can feel the force flowing through you, and you activate your lightsaber. You swing and as you swing Nagta drops the man.
The difficulty of using a lightsaber is Difficult [20] + 10 to avoid injuring others in the cargo hold [30] + 4D [15] for called shot [Total difficulty is 45]. You must beat this and Nagta's attempt to dodge/parry if he so chooses to perform no other actions. Your lightsaber skill is 6D + 2D for Sense Dice x 2 for force point, - 1D for multiple actions = 15D [58].
END EDIT
Although your intentions are good, your methods are too aggressive, and you receive 1 darkside point.
- Nagta - The Jedi continues to stand there with his lightsaber at the ready. Ilon tells him to take this outside, and then walks over to Garmen. Ka's lightsaber activates just as you drop the Pirate, and he swings.
He rolled 58 to hit.
- Kylin - You step down the ramp and start looking for signs of Imperials. The signs are everywhere. There are stormtroopers on the ground, and you can make out the shape of the Star Destroyers overhead in the night sky. Your survey is broken by a loud hiss, and then a deep thrumbing.
- Athena - You speak to the Pirate in Nagta's grasp, encouraging him to be entirely truthful with Nagta, because of his lack of pacience, and ettiquette. The Pirate begins to mumble something, but is cut off by the sound of Ka's lightsaber, and then immediately dropped by Nagta.
- Rava - Uneasy about leaving Ka with Nagta in a hostile situation, you remove the Sleep Inducer from your cloak and turn to re-enter the ship. Cale catches up with you and begins to speak,
As you walk up the ramp you hear the sound of Ka's lightsaber, loud and clear in the cargo hold. The worst has happened.
- Cale - After a moment of looking around, you see Rava heading back toward the ship. You approach him,
You hear a loud hiss, and Rava quickens his step.
- Ilon - Concerned for the safety of those on board, and the fairly clean surface of the cargo hold foor, you tell Ka to take his little conflict with Nagta outside. Your hand finds its way to your blaster as you try to get Garmen to move for his own good. He mentions that he's busy with something very important and will lock up when he's done. Your Urge to get him to move is drowned out by the sound of Ka's lightsaber activating. You reach for Garmen's arm and attempt to pull him up.
Your strength is 3D, [11].
- Camon - You are still standing outside, but there is definately something wrong. There is a loud hiss and then a deep thrumb.
The only people who need to post for the next round are Ilon, Garmen, and those involved in, or who intend to do something about the fight.

I set the Sleep Inducer to shot mode and Fire once at KA (becuase his saber is out and looks to be swinging) and then the second shot goes at Nagta to knock him out as Well (I will use a ch point on the second shot to make sure I hit Nagta and not the -1 D)

I throw myself to the ground, while still holding onto Garmen's arm, trying to bring him down with me and get us both out the way of any errant swings of the lightsaber.
As I am falling, I twist as to try to land on my back and draw my blaster from its holster with my free hand, reading myself for what ever happens next.

I will draw my hold out blaster.
"Boys there is no need to fight. Why don't we all put our weapons down! NOW!"
If no one resopnds immideatly I will shoot my blaster, one shot into the air to get everyones attention.
"Put your weapons down!"
My voice very stern and authoritative.
