I compared it to those already, and it doesn't look like any of them.

There are a lot of posts in the reviews you linked to before that talk about the threads being proprietary so I think that's probably the case.

I know, I just wanted the picture to prove it to the skeptics.

1. Try it with an Imperial scale to be consistent with Doc. Your pic shows the 4rth thread at 2.5cm and Doc's shows Spyder's 4rth thread at 1". That's the same distance (well, approximately).

Slight variations in the pic will exist due to the beginning of the thread not lining up. For a better comparison, we should take a pic of the barrels side by side with both the "front" and "back" of the breach parts of the barrel matching.

His gun uses a Spyder barrel. The first pic shows it installed.


3. The reviews he linked to also talked about people using Spyder threaded barrels:

its not good for the tourny player, its very hard to get upgrades, although my friends spyder sport barrel worked on it and then my gun was insane. it doesnt come with a bottom line. dont snap shoot it or else its mad barrel break, but its fixed with new barrel (if u can find 1)

4. I believe that the threading is slightly different. However, I believe it's close enough that if you don't care all that much about the gun or the barrel that you could probably get it to work. Just force it in.

Sounds like it warrants a test. I think that Tyler mentioned getting rid of his stubby barrel... hmm.

Yeah, I *think* it would fit if you gave it a little TLC. I just don't know how easy it would be to change barrels afterwards.

Though, if the gun was $10 and you get a cheapo barrel I don't think I'd cry too much over it. Granted, the JT pump pistols go for $40 new so I wouldn't want to invest too much into an experiment, but maybe that's just me.

So now I'm maybe thinking about using 90g cartridges:

I already have the adapter, and they would work as a fore-grip just like the quick change. I will get one of each to test the difference.

I also wonder if I could fill these... hmm. Safety third?
