Sounds Good.
I might not be here tomorrow so here are the ground rules.
Any wood in the red barn is fair game with the exception of the plywood and the 2x10's and 2x6's right inside the barn.

Don't use the plywood that are former doors for the kilns(most are standing up as shields now), They have to go backup as doors before winter.
Kilns don't last long without doors for some reason.

Any tools I have feel free to use, just leave them in the garage when you are done with them. Same with the extension cords.
The only tools you can't use are the tractors, sorry they are to "modified" for me to let people use when I am not around.

Try to stick with the urban tactical theme where possible. I am working out a deal that will give us a great place to build forts, towers and bridges so keep those ideas on the back burner.

I have started 2 bunkers of my own, one is about half done, the other is 1/3 finished, should be done by the weekend.

Lastly, please be kind, remember I am going to have to be able to move these things lol.
If you could build on a chain lift point that would be awesome!

I'm going to try to get there around 5pm.

Where are these bunkers?

Jon and I talked about this tonight and I'm of the opinion that whatever we build shouldn't be too impenetrable. I mean we should build some things that have enough flaws that they don't become unfair during some of the play modes.

Also agreeing with Bob completely on the urban tactical theme. Most of the area looks like it belongs in the game Fallout right now so I think whatever we build should look improvised and cobbled together. Given my carpentry skills we should have no problems in this regard because everything I build looks ramshackle.

I feel that everything (or at least mostly everything) should be easily collapsible so that it can be moved around Bob's and even to Jason's if we want.

... opps, my bunkers are locking air conditioned plexi glass boxes, 10 feet in the air with small murder holes in them.
They create the perfect invulnerable position.

No, wait... that was my dream bunker!

I put one where the tractor was, and one in death ally.
I think they will need some tweaking to get them perfect, but they basically follow eight_enders comments.

Now, the secret gaping bunker I built... MUHHAHAHAHHAHAAH!

Locking air conditioned boxes sound good. Now we should put them on cables so you can move across the playing field like a deadly glass gondola.

I assume that Bob incorporated some kind of anti-grav technology so they can float freely around the field.

Close, it is more like the jump technology from battle-star Galactica though. lol

Aight. We should contact one of the pallet "factories" then. I don't have access to a truck for about another 3-4 weeks so if you're willing to help pick it up, I'm game. Do you want me to contact them to find out available hours?

There's a place on Clarke and Huron that sometimes has big piles they give away.
