See what happens when you read the board? Look hard enough and you'll see all the threads where I mock you somewhat humorously ;)

I don't know whether to be impressed or somewhat scared over the whole first born thing. Hopefully, the kid will turn out as well balanced, good-looking, intelligent, humble, and quiet as me............now say THAT with a straight face

Wait 'til I start pumping out the Doom ]I[ stuff.

I got my CGW issue a few days ago so I scanned in the HL 2 preview they had, a few new screens and whatnot.

Well since it seems to be the hip thing to do and we've gotten the OK to say so, tomorrow at 3.30pm PST we'll have an in-house preview of Half-Life 2 complete with first-hand impressions and screenshots straight from Valve Software. There's also a good chance that the meaning of life will be revealed as I've been holding that one back for a while.

That means today, folks ;)

Well, Im going to deviate from standard practice here. Im going to get a little excited about Half-Life 2. I've been reading through reviews and scanning screenshots and it does look like Valve is going to follow through with their expectations. However, there are a few niggling problems that I have. If you check the screenshots with buildings, the detail seems to be lacking on some buildings and good on others, whether or not this is just something that hasnt been seen to yet and will be fixed by ship-date remains to be seen. Characters look great, although a little low poly. Eyes are erily real, but sometimes seem to be slightly off kilter.

We can only hope that said details are fixed by ship date.

G-Man looks amazing.

That is all

For the record I also have a subscription to PC Gamer. Half-Life 2 looks pretty good. I'm not crazy excited, but whatever. Maybe if they leaked an alpha copy or something... ;)

Looks like there's a new Half-Life gameplay video. It's like over 600mb. (Gray don't even try) I think they have it at FilePlanet. I'm gonna download it and see what it's all about.
