i hate big companies like this and have particularly always disliked sony sh!te

i specifically dont like having to agree to an EULA for a cd you already bought thats just insane

the whole thing just gets me in a tizzy

Scotch tape, that is just awsome! I realy like that, makes me want to go out and buy one.

Side Point, While reading the artical, this stood out in my mind.

"After more than five years of trying, the recording industry has not yet demonstrated a workable DRM scheme for music CDs," concluded the Gartner analysts. "It will never achieve this goal as long as CDs must be playable by stand-alone CD players."

Does this mean that the best way to bypass music protection is to build a driver that treats the computers cd-rom as if it were a Stand Alone music player. The data that came out would still be digital, then just encode the stream to MP3.
