I just saw it again tonight, twice in two days. The movie is really excellent, way better than the first (even though the first one was great).
My only beef is that some of the CG was still a little weak, but other than that it had great pacing, action, comedy, acting, camera work....everything.

What CG did you feel was weak?

The shot near the end when he is standing on the crane, and the shot's when he is trying to stop the subway (particularly when he uses his feet).
A couple scene's with Doc Okk as well, particularly when he is holding people in his claws.
I noticed it alot more the second time around, I had more time to really take in the effects.

when he jumps off the crane, why not just dress a stunt jumper up like spidey, instead of CG, I didn't understand that...

I thought it did fine for what it was trying to portray. I mean, it's not exactly like they have a guy with metallic arms sticking out of his back IRL to reference off of.
Though, I agree with Neb on the crane jump. Musta been cheaper to CG.
DERAILMENT:
Who do you think will be the next villian?
Green Goblin:
Seems pretty obvious as to how.
Scorpion:
They really played up the Jameson part so this could happen
Lizard:
I can't remember if his prof had one arm or not. I'm fairly certain he did, though.
Venom:
Actually a possibility because:
1). Parker took over someone's photography job (could have been Eddie Brock).
2). the job was to take pictures of an astronaut
Though, Raimi said he wouldn't do Venom.
Blackcat:
Was Jameson's secratary's name Felicia Hardy?
Hydro or Sandman or Man-Wolf?
Harry might hire them?
I'm betting on Green Goblin and the Lizard in 3.

Since the Green Goblin was In the first one, you must mean the Hob Goblin right?
While all the other possibilities are there, they just left too much open with Harry and Peter at the end of the movie to not do Hob Goblin and I dont think that they will do two villians in the next movie.

Harry != Hob Goblin
http://www.marveldirectory.com/individu ... blinii.htm
Reporter Edward "Ned" Leeds came into possession of the Green Goblin's journals and equipment and used them to become the costumed criminal known as the Hobgoblin. He used the knowledge he gained from the journals to blackmail Harry by threatening to expose the activities of him and his father in their respective roles as the Green Goblin.
Harry = Green Goblin (II if you wanna be really @nal about it).
I'm hoping that they do at least 2 villians in 3. A re-encounter with just the Green Goblin seems like it would suck.

I'm thinking it will definately be Hob Goblin in the next film. I also think that there will be two villains in the next movie, maybe Kingpin (string puller), or muscle with electro/shocker or Rhino, or something like that.
The next movie will probably mean another step up in terms of the threat, and the relationship between Peter and MJ (marriage anyone?). Two villains means Spidey has to make a choice, and could really work out. There is also the possibility that if the Kingpin is the villain of a Spidey movie, then there could be a Spiderman/Daredevil team in the future. I'm not saying this will happen next, but it's a possibility, since both are going into multiple productions, and even Electra is getting her own movie.
I'm not usually a fan of the whole team up thing, but I would love to see Spiderman, and Daredevil kick butt.
Here's the movie: Spiderman is swinging through New York, heading for Time Square. Daredevil is heading in the opposite direction, awayfrom time square. WHAM, they bump into each other just as the Hob Goblin catches up with Spiderman, and an army of the Kingpin's henchmen (heavily armed) corner Daredevil. Big fight, henchmen down, Hob Goblin retreats, joins Kingpin, kidnaps MJ, Electra is back, also kidnaped (still has to work on her hero thing). Spidey and DD kick butt, but MJ and Electra escape on their own. The end.
Tune in next time for more action. Next episode, meet the Black Canary, and the Green Arrow or Green Lantern (whoever gets better ratings), as they join Spidey and DD in fighting off Carnage, Venom, the Vulcher, and a guest appearance by Lex Luthor.
(yeah, right. I still think the team up against Kingpin in a future film is entirely possible.)

A dual superhero team up, let alone a DC/Marvel team up, would be unlikley in my opinion (at least, this early on in the series).
I'm still banking on Green Goblin + Lizard (or some other "minor" Spidey character).
