There will not be any restrictions on templates. Other than Jedi, of course. Slicers, Twi'lek dancers, Hutts (Maybe not). I figure that as long as it is sentient, then it should be ok. Any alien species that you can give me stats for, or just make up within reason, will be allowed. If I feel you're getting delusions of grandeur I will tone down the character, but I have already toned everything up. I want to be very open with this, so tell me what you're thinking of and I'll probably give it a green light. If you want to be a professional speeder thief who has joined the Rebellion, that's ok too. The rebels take what they can get, as long as you aren't a heartless murderer.

Just an announcement for the players, and anyone who hasn't talked to me, but would like to join. I would like to start the game next Wednesday (that's the 16th), but I will wait until Friday night. That gives everyone about a week to get characters made up and turned in.

Another reminder that the game is starting very soon. We have 9 confirmed players, but 2 still haven't completed their characters:

I know that they are almost done.

I will make the first post between 6:00pm and 8:00pm Friday night, as long as the characters are in. If they are not all in I will post here, to let you know that the game is postponed. If anyone needs to get anything from the armoury let me know before I post the first actions.

Hey, where did ya get the whole "Cathar merc" thing from? Was it in the rule books or did ya make the name up yourself?

Cathars are an alien species in the star wars universe, and are present in several sources other than the rulebook.

Was wondering why they were showing up in Star Wars.

I wondered too, the first time I saw the name. But then again, all of the trade federation aliens have Japanese accents, and George Lucas hasn't tried to hide his incorporation of various cultures into Star Wars.
