A mod group actually beat these guys to it several months ago and Penny-Arcade donated the money in Jack Thompson's name to a charity. A lawsuite was filed and summarily dismissed.

right its was just a mod though and it was not even what jack said ... they took his idea and changed it ..

what the mod team did

Mild mannered Christian attorney by day, Jack Thompson moonlights as Banman, a homicidal hero who cuts through immorality and beauracratic laws with an automatic rifle. Utilizing his Schwarzenegger sized personal arsenal and his trusty Bannedwagon, Banman fights the evil videogame industry's dirty tactics. From destroying trucks to make sure the children are kept safe from violent games, to fighting off an armed rebellion of lesbians, feminists, and female golfers led by General Janet Reno, Banman puts it all on the line to protect the homeland.




these guys did what i think is what he said ... they made it like what I would have figured he was talking about..

Essentially, the game involves Osaki Kim, a father whose son was "beaten to death with a baseball bat by a 14-year-old gamer." The guilty party was "only" sentenced to life, even after finding a connection to video games and the murder, so O.K. (as Thompson abbreviates) goes on a killing spree to avenge his son – he kills the publisher (Take This, a not-so-subtle reference to San Andreas publisher Take Two), followed by all parties involved in the trial, merchants of GameStop-like store and arcades.


and as for the text games ..they suck so dont count.. as for the money I knew all about PA and that was some funny stuff..


edit: plus this game also makes it look like jack told him (the player) to go out and kill the people lol and thats funny to me.. (this is better then any mod.. This is it.. the one game that will really piss jack off lol

Obviously it was close enough for the guys from PA to donate $10000 in Jack Thompson's name since he reneged on his half of the deal. I'd classify that as following through.

He's suing Facebook for an obscene amount of cash because people were making "violent threats" to him that "left him emotionally disturbed."

The quote that he lists in his lawsuit is pretty frickin' awesome, too.
