Watch for Hackers

I was listening to the radio, and heard a funny story that going on in london here.

Aparently someone or someones are hacking the phone systems.

They are phoning people saying they are the phone company doing upgrades on the phone system, to do testing please dial these 2 numbers and then # and hang up.

That is now enabling the hacker to get a long distance call using that persons phone line.

Canada's largest hacking bust. I saw some of their equipment on TV. The best system they could round up was an Abit NF7S in a Thermaltake case to put on display at the press conference. No wonder they were trying to steal cash--they needed system upgrades :lol:
