looking for....--A List Of Cheap Computer Parts

hey guys this is related to my amd pro post... but i wondered if anyone has a cheap smattering of parts that i could assemble or perhaps an old comp they werent using
basic specs

proc: 500 mhz and up
mobo: obvious it has to fit the proc
Ram: 256 or above
case with power supply
video card: something (anything) with tv out
HD: 10 gigs would be fine (or up)

basically i'm goina do like win 98 or something and use it as a glorified media box hooked up to the tv for movies... so if anyone has said parts or even a comperable computer i would be interested in scrounging the parts off you guys

ok i want you guys opinion on this... i found something that suits my needs but i am caught because if i spend like 130 more i can get a decent second computer... but what do you think?

down side it only has pci slots no agp but i suppose its possible to get something decent like a radeon for the pci slot

It can be hard to find a reasonably priced Radeon PCI card, I would make sure I could get one before you went ahead.

either way it doesnt matter i have a spare vid card and i'm not buying the monitor... he says that he was adjusting the resolution so he could play some game and his monitor just went blank
